St Huberts House is a grade II listed building with a rich history. Originally began life as a hunting lodge for Royalty and the upper echelons of London’s society before its conversion in the 1860’s to its current format.

The privately owned dwelling boasts substantial grounds where the client was looking to have a CHP engine to power a digital data centre to bitcoin mine.

Utility Site Services were engaged to install a new MP270 gas service capable of 6522KWH terminating with a 100mm ECV in a bespoke meter house.

The meter housing was a 3.2m x 1.5m x 2.2m kiosk designed to industry standards which contained a 23M rotary gas meter.

Project challenges largely surrounded the service termination location being in a wooded location so specialist lifting equipment was required to ensure the kiosk and meter were able to be safely placed in situ.
